Rogers Clemens re-signs with Astros for $22 million
Posted by Barry on June 1st, 2006OK, so his actual pay will be pro-rated, but that’s an insane amount of money for a baseball player…let alone a pitcher….let alone a teasip! I almost never fall into the camp that says athletes or actors or CEOs or whoever get paid too much, but $22 million for one baseball season or basketball season is just totally nuts. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go help my son work on his split-finger fastball…..
